May fun

Claire can ride a bike.  Here she is on day 2.  We bought this bike at a garage sale and took off the training wheels and the pedals!  And viola, it's a balance bike.  I wish I could say I taught her.  But she taught herself.  With the help if her friend Abigail's bike.  It's crazy how much more mature is.... I remember at the end of last summer she was doing pretty well on her friend Abigail's bike and Jason asked if we should put her pedals on.  And I said, I don't want to give her her more reasons to scream and cry...she was still in the frequent tantrum stage. Wow!  I am sure glad that she has stopped tantrumimg, because Ryan has started already!  Trevor gets angry, but never tantrums.  Ryan has the whole throwing his head back in anger whenever mom tries to stop his playing, even if it's just to get him to eat. Yikes!  I try distracting him by singing a song, he could care less.  The one thing that helps is if I ask him, "what Trevor doing". I'm glad I found something.  Silly guy.
She is pretty fast too!
We went to farm country with our friends from preschool.  These little goats were adorable.  Gotta love Ryan's cheeks...I can tell how much he has thinned up in the last few months
They are so excited to ride the ponies.

Here we are waiting for the wagon ride. With Aaron fisher and Rachel halverson (Mary was babysitting Rachel).
Me and my lil guys
Then we went to the tulip festival at the thanksgiving point gardens. Wow I can't believe I have never gone before.  It is gorgeous.

Don't worry, he didn't pick the tulip. He is just trying to smell it. :)
The weather was perfect, warm but overcast, with a cool breeze.
Standing next to the purple tulips, her favorite color!
One of my favs!
Trevor helped push Ryan.
Aww.. The kids loved the secret gardens.  And Claire overcame her fear/hate of getting her clothes wet...to have fun playing in pools.
Lots of fun!
Claire and I threw a baby shower for my friend Rebecca!
Here is a pic Claire took of her, she is so cute!
We had a really god turnout, yay!

One of the best pics I have of Claire's beautiful eyes!  Blue on outside, green on inside. Yay, no cavities at dentist!
I felt pretty crummy on Mother's Day, I was up all night with stomach pain.  I think I am now allergic to flax seed and other seeds, like my older brother.
These cuties helped make it better!
We had to take a few silly pics that night, once I was feeling better.
Fun times!

I get the best pics of the three of them, when they are trying to help Ryan..so sweet!
It seems like I have to go through this stage with my lil guys, so I remember to never let it happen again.  At the time, it was hard to cut his cute curls in back.  Now I look and think, he looks like a girl....

Rebecca taught me how to curl hair, and get it to stay.  Then Claire did her hair.  I think my biggest problem, is that Claire and I have thick hair, and I just have to remember to grab smaller amounts of hair to get the curls to stay in better.

More fun!

Ryan liked the Easter bunny ears
He had fun taking them off and trying to put them on again.
Ryan loves to snuggle his giraffe..so sweet
Still no walking, but he gets around on this thing pretty good.

Claire's dance pics!

Getting ready for her rehearsal. The good pics we on my real camera. She was so confident ( even when her dance moves may have been a little off) and so excited to be on stage...so cute.

Ryan finally got a hair cut!  Notice all that brown stuff on the floor
We want to Jason's coworkers sons birthday party.  Daddy even took Ryan on the slide
He loved it!

Have I mentioned how much we love having shade in our backyard!
Went to to our splash pad, Ryan loved it.. Fearless little guy
Loved the water...to bad he had swimmers ear and was up screaming that night.  Thank goodness for garlic and mullein oil!

Getting passport pics for our trip to Canada...love Ryan's expression.
Aaron- our preschool buddy!
Claire loves fancy nancy books.  She thinks she the more she wears, the fancier she is...silly girl
Double rainbow!
June has been crazy good! Jason finished his dissertation and it's all approved by his 5 professors.  Now just to apa format!  And he has til June 30th!  And Trevor is potty trained!  He still has accidents, but it's usually when we are home playing and hes just distracted.  His accidents all take place when he is bathroom, pulling down his pants and can't hold himself any more.... Any suggestions??
