Graduation

Jason graduated with his Masters in Applied Social Psychology! So my parents asked, Can Claire serve two masters? (Now that Jason and I both have our masters :))

3 siblings, 3 different degrees, 1 graduation ceremony- perfect! We attended Tim, Jason's older brother's ceremony: a) its at 8am and interferes least with nap time= happier kids= happier moms b) his college is much smaller and therefore has a shorter ceremony than an open enrollment FHSS graduation c) we got to watch Tim being hooded for getting his PhD in Computer Science

(left) Here is Jason and Amy, Amy got her bachelors in English and a minor in Art (right) two cuties playing with grandma

(left) lounging during the ceremony (right) brothers + Claire... Claire was a little daddy deprived and didn't want him to let go of her...such a sweetie

(left)Very proud parents and grandma with three graduates (right) They should be models for the different types of cap and gowns :)

siblings + Claire and Nate

And here is Jason using his new graduation present! We got it for a pretty sweet deal... go here to read more.

Swinging

Our neighbors have a fun swing set that we went over to play on.
Some cute pics of the girls: claire and ava

and gracie

Clarie loved the swing! I love how she smiles big even when she slides off the swing. These swings were perfect to learn how to swing on. She actually was getting how to lean forward and then back. Such a smartie, just like her dad :)

Dancing

Our little cutie likes to sing and dance. Here is a video of some of her dance moves!

Slide

I found this slide at a garage sale for $10. So we cleaned it up and drained the water, and viola! Tons of fun!

I am not sure if this move was on purpose or accident... but she enjoyed it nonetheless

Claire heard the word "picture" and gave us this toothy grin, which of course made her laugh and smile... yeah she's got some of her mom's laughing at her own jokes

It also makes for a cool fort underneath!

She was even able to climb the stairs all by herself, when she thought we were going inside.

Achievement Days + more

Monday- I had Achievement Days (activities for girls 8-11). We used to have a group of 10 girls who came to activities. Then our ward got split, and now we only have one. We will have to work on that. But we still had fun playing badminton.
(left) I love this silly face on Maddilyn and Nayarra's hair in action

Tuesday- Claire drank/ spilled around a 1/3 bottle of Children's ibuprofen! Luckily she had no side affects, and I was assured from poison control that it wasn't a poisonous amount. She apparently can now open child proofed containers, in less than a minute, as I was picking out some clothes from my closet.

Wednesday- Lauren got physical therapy on her back. Its funny because I never needed physical therapy for my ankle (the doc said it was strong enough). But my back just wasn't back to 100%.
(left)So Claire hung out at dad's work. (right) Claire has been so mothering to her stuffed animals. Here she is feeding bunny. She also loves to give them kisses, have us kiss them, and put a blanket on them for a nap- so cute!

Thursday- We painted the bookshelves that Jason made us! Good work babe!

Sunday Walk

Last Sunday we went for a walk. A nearby house has a lot of cool animals/birds

(left) this guy kinda looked like a statue

Jason's birthday

I forgot to post a few pics from J's birthday... His birthday was right before Amy's wedding and right around when his final printed and bound thesis was due, so we had a nice and simple birthday at home. Funfetti bundt cake with lemon drizzle and sprinkles on top.
And Jason got three jello pudding pies for his birthday at his parent's houseI was watching this video, called Let Us Be Men. And I was reminded of how fortunate I am to have such an amazing husband. He is so loving and so giving and would do anything I asked. I truly am so spoiled! Just like the video says, "There, is a man!"

Easter Weekend

(left) I made Claire an Easter basket (center) My friend Aleena, in background, had a party at her new house after her cute family got sealed together! (left) Trying to get Memphis (Aleena's boy) interested in the phone

(left) Using more extreme measures to get him to listen (right) Claire loved the balloons!

We had lots of fun at grandma and grandpa's for General Conference. It was very uplifting and motivating!

(left) Clarie was in a hugging mood. In this pic, cousin Matthew is trying to escape. Since in her previous hug, she accidentally pulled them both to the ground (left) Easter egg hunt inside since it snowed that morning... and we're off.

(left) "Yay! I got it" (center) Almost in the bag (right) "What if I want it again?"

(left) Not feeling great, and she needed some of the great outdoors to help her eat some dinner. (right) Hurt the inside of her mouth, and held her bottom lip in all day. Poor Claire has had a rough week! Let's hope she gets better soon!
